Yes. The daily five, friend challenges, world rankings, badges and 3 practice rounds a day are free. Clueful Plus is optional: unlimited practice and retries, Coco's model clue after every round, and missed-word review. It costs US$4.99 a month or US$29.99 a year with a 7-day free trial (local prices vary).

English, Korean and Spanish. You can switch the language you practice at any time.
Does it actually help me learn a language?
It trains the skill real conversations need most: explaining a word you can't remember. Coco only understands you if your explanation works, so you get honest feedback on every clue.
How does Coco understand my clues?
Coco is an AI judge. Your clue is sent to our server and to Jev, an AI service by TypeSafe, which scores how likely each word in the category is. We ask for your permission before your first round.
Do you keep my clues?
We don't store clues with your identity. See the privacy policy for the details.
Is Clueful on Android or Mac?
Clueful is on the App Store for iPhone (iOS 17 or later) and Mac (macOS 14 or later). Android is planned next.
Is this the Clueful daily word game with six guesses?
No. That was a different browser game by another developer that used this domain in 2024. Today's Clueful is an iPhone and Mac app where you describe a word without saying it and Coco the parrot guesses. It is also unrelated to Bitdefender's old Clueful privacy app.
Can I use the word lists for a party game?
Yes. The free word lists have 96 words in 12 categories, each with the four words you can't say, ready for a describe-it game with friends or a class.
